FAQs

1. When should I see an orthodontist?

Whether you’re seven or seventy, orthodontic treatment is beneficial to you! If you or your child suffer from low self-esteem because of your smile, have trouble flossing, get food continuously stuck between your teeth, or have issues with your bite, contact us to see how we can help. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic screening at age 7. By this age, several permanent teeth in most children have already erupted, allowing us to effectively evaluate their orthodontic condition. Interceptive or early treatment can take care of issues now and make future treatment less complex.

2. Why can’t I get a quote over the phone?

We get this question a lot. We get it. Your time is valuable and you want answers fast. This is why we have streamlined your initial complimentary consultation to make sure you get all of the answers that you need. Orthodontic treatment varies so much that it is impossible to give you an accurate quote over the phone without seeing you first. Your investment is based on the complexity of treatment along with your treatment goals. Give us an hour of your time and we’ll give you an accurate and customized investment fee.

3. What should I look for when picking an orthodontist?

Getting orthodontic treatment is a huge investment in both time and money and you need to choose an orthodontist that you are completely comfortable with. Choose an orthodontist that listens to your concerns, understands your treatment goals, and puts you at ease as someone you can trust.

4. Will my insurance cover orthodontic treatment?

Most dental insurance companies include orthodontic coverage in their policies because they see the advantages to having orthodontic treatment. For most instances, this also includes Invisalign Treatment! Our insurance specialists will be your advocate and maximize your insurance benefits as much as possible and we will discuss your benefits as part of your complimentary consultation.
